[Pollinator] Bumble Bee Blitz

This week the National Museum of Natural History is making a big push to transcribe bumble bee digitized records by holding another Bumble Bee Blitz at Natural History. We are teaming up with WeDigBio and natural history organizations around the world, from coast to coast, down under, and across the pond, from October 22-25.

Spread the word, or better yet, join us over at Natural History on Saturday or Sunday from 1:00pm – 4:00pm. We will have bee experts and the Transcription Center on hand, andSmithsonian Archives will join us on Sunday with the Field Book Project.

If you cannot join us in person, you can visit the Transcription Center during the four-day event and help make the bee collection fully digital and searchable.
