[Pollinator] New bumble bee film available for Pollinator Week screenings

Hi everyone,



If you were wondering how to mark Pollinator Week this year, how about
organizing a screening of "A Ghost in the Making," an enchanting short film
about the disappearance of the rusty-patched bumble bee and one man’s
journey to find out what’s happened to it. The Xerces Society partnered
with nature photographer Clay Bolt, of Beautiful Bees (www.claybolt.com,
http://beautifulbees.org/), and Neil Losin, of Day's Edge Productions (
www.daysedge.com), to produce the film. The project was supported by
Endangered Species Chocolate. You can see the trailer at:

The film includes amazing close-up photography of bumble bees and
slow-motion flight, and tells the salutatory tale of the decline of the
rusty-patched bumble bee. "A Ghost in the Making" was premiered at film
festivals this spring and will soon be available for anyone to view online.
Before then, it is available for screenings. The screening can be large or
small, a nature center or community hall or neighborhood gathering. If you
