Hello All!
If anyone has a native plant demonstration area and would like to
participate, the National Seed Strategy has a survey in circulation to take
stock of what is on the landscape. See text below for details.
Best,
Amber
The National Seed Strategy-Seeing is Believing Task Force is continuing to
collect survey information on native plant demonstration sites across the
United States. In effort to achieve Action 3.1.2 of the National Seed
Strategy for Restoration and Rehabilitation

'Use and, where appropriate, expand the network of restoration field sites
and demonstration areas,' please consider completing the short survey
below, informing us of your organization's native plantings. *If you have
already completed the Native Plant Demonstration Site Network Survey, thank
you for your participation and please disregard this email.*
If you are aware of other organizations demonstrating the use of native
plants, please feel free to forward this invitation.
Thank you for taking a few minutes to share details regarding your native
planting (see below)!

You have received an invitation to complete the Native Plant Demonstration
Site Network Survey due to your interest in conserving native plant species
and native plant communities. In order to achieve objectives set forth by
the National Seed Strategy for Rehabilitation and Restoration, please share
details regarding the demonstration of native plants at your organization.
This survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete.
When completing this survey, you are helping to connect land managers by
facilitating the sharing of best practice methods for the conversion of
land into native displays. The network will also be used to educate the
public of the need for native plant materials and where their use can be
demonstrated. By entering your site information, you are agreeing to allow
your native plant demonstration site to be included in the forthcoming
Native Plant Demonstration Site Network Database.
We appreciate your input and interest in furthering the progression of the
National Seed Strategy.
*Please feel free to forward this survey to other organizations who also
manage native plant displays. *
*Together we can protect native plants by ensuring that native plant
populations and their communities are maintained, enhanced, and restored.*
