[Pollinator] The Life of Peter Raven

The Missouri Botanical Garden offers an online page on the life of Peter
Raven, Please take the link (below) if you are interested. I wish they had
given more space to his professional contributions to plant systematics
(Onagraceae), plant-herbivore coevolution, pollination of the American
Western flora, karyology, plant geography and continental drift etc. For
all that, we will have to wait for obituary notices in scientific journals
over the next year or two. There is no information on this page or in any
recent email messages I've received from MO Garden administrators to staff
regarding a date and time for the funeral. The Garden is in the process of
organizing a public tribute to his life but, according to this page, a date
remains to be set.
