The Vegetation Specification Suite includes Decision Support Tools for conservation plantings, estimated cover crop economics, seeding rates, and more. The webinar will begin with an overview of the suite purpose and background. A brief introduction to each tool and the data used to develop them will follow. The webinar will close with a live demonstration and walk-through of one particular tool, VegSpec, used for all selecting species and creating seed mixes for NRCS conservation planting practices. Familiarize participants with the Vegetation Specification Suite website, individual decision support tools, and data sources, and introduce VegSpec.
