Am watching the old TV series "Downton Abbey" about life in upper  
crust England in the twenties.
The last episode featured a "gilly" (dance) in a Scottish castle in  
which reels were played and
danced. The players were three fiddlers plus an accordian and the  
tunes were merry but unfamiliar.
