UUCSR-Open is an e-mail list group hosted by the Unitarian Universalist Congregation, Santa Rosa (UUCSR), California. Anyone may subscribe to UUCSR-Open, while only UUCSR members and pledging friends my subscribe to our limited-topic group, UUCSR-Focus. Unlike our limited UUCSR-Focus group, UUCSR-Open has no topic restrictions. Here you may post about outside events not officially sponsored by UUCSR; recommended web sites; notices or reviews of movies, books, or cultural events; home improvement tips; political or activist subjects, humor, inspiration, or any other "front porch" chat. YOUR PASSWORD: - To change your subscription setup or view old messages in the archives, you'll need to enter your e-mail address and password. If you didn't set up a password, the list assigned you one automatically, and included it at the bottom of your initial "Welcome" message. - TO GET YOUR CURRENT PASSWORD by e-mail: -- 1. Enter your address in the blank at the bottom of this page. -- 2. Click the "Unsubscribe or edit Options" button (which does =not= unsubscribe you; you have to take additional steps). -- 3. On the following "Membership Configuration" page, scroll down to "Forgotten Your Password?" -- 4. Click on the "Email My Password To Me" button. -- 5. Using UUCSR-Open
To post a message to all the list members, send email to uucsr-open@lists.sonic.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to UUCSR-Open
Subscribe to UUCSR-Open by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you. This is a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription. You can always request a mail-back of your password when you edit your personal options. Once a month, your password will be emailed to you as a reminder.
