to sign on. 
* Feel free to forward this opportunity to other organizations that might be
interested.
* Organizations are certainly encouraged to send their own letters of
support, too.  

BACKGROUND:
* House-Senate Conferees and Congressional Leaders remain under heavy
pressure from the Administration to cut the costs of the Farm Bill. 
* Conservation is a vulnerable target for such cuts.  
* CoE sent its own letter earlier to conferees in support of pollinator
provisions and funding [see http://www.pollinator.org/farm_bill.htm].
* CoE is also participating in this excellent team effort of conservation,
wildlife and sustainable ag groups to demonstrate a strong and united call
for maintaining a $5 billion increase in total mandatory USDA conservation
spending over five years--and has signed on to the group letter.  
* Overall conservation funding is important if pollinator-related
conservation practices are to be funded--for the benefit of both wild and
managed pollinators.
