[Pollinator] Aveda and Minnesota Zoo hand out NAS-NAPPC Pollinator Wheels

    Minnesota Zoo’s butterfly garden  opens June 14

Wednesday, 11 June 2008   The Aveda Butterfly Garden at the Minnesota Zoo  in Apple 
Valley will open for the season on Saturday, June 14.

To  celebrate the opening, Aveda will hand out men’s product samples on  
Father’s Day at the garden and will distribute educational pollinator  wheels to 
children on both Saturday and Sunday.

Located along the  Tropics Trail, the Aveda Butterfly Garden features 40 
different species of  butterflies and moths. The interactive exhibit demonstrates 
the butterfly  life cycle, including stages as a caterpillar, chrysalis or 
cocoon, and  adult. The garden also contains hundreds of shrubs and flowering  
plants.

The Minnesota Zoo is located at 13000 Zoo Boulevard in  Apple Valley. For
