When life gives you lemons...

....well, you know how the saying goes. We won't be having our in-person
Redwood Music Camps this year, but we've got a great online alternative!

Next Saturday and Sunday, April 25th and 26th, we'll launch a series of
short instructional videos for people who play (or listen to) Celtic music.
The videos will cover a range of topics and instruments; here's the current
line-up:

   - Saturday 9am:  Putting a Lilt into Irish Jigs, Part 1 (fiddle)
   - Saturday 10am:  Polyrhythmic Fun for Jigs (harp)
   - Saturday 11am:  Pattern Power (whistle)
   - Saturday 1pm:  Introduction to Celtic Rhythms (all)
   - Saturday 2pm:  Intro to DADGAD for Irish Tunes (guitar)
   - Saturday 3pm:  Strathspey Bowing Technique (fiddle)
   - Sunday 9am:  Left-hand Syncopation for Slip Jigs (harp)
   - Sunday 10am:  Putting a Lilt into Irish Jigs, Part 2 (fiddle)
   - Sunday 11am:  Grace Note Bootcamp (practice chanter, whistle)
   - Sunday 1pm:  Syncopation Super-charge (bodhran)

The videos will be created by our fabulous camp faculty:  Jesse Autumn,
David Brewer, Adam Hendey, Rebecca Lomnickey, Stuart Mason, and John Weed.
They will be free to watch – and will stay up on the website until early
summer – but we do encourage those who utilize the videos to make a
donation.

We hope you can join us next weekend as we dip our toes into the world of
online offerings. In the meantime, if you'd like to send us a little
