Hi family,

Our friend Nibby’s home and farm infrastructure recently burned down in the
CZU Lightning Complex fire. Nibby and her family have a small organic farm,
Two Dog Farm, where they grow dry-farm tomatoes and other veggies. Despite
the devastation to their property, their crops managed to survive, and they
are continuing to try to harvest and sell at farmers’ markets. Nibby played
with the session for many years until she got arthritis recently.

For many summers now (except this last summer), Lucas, Cora, and I have
been invited to visit their beautiful home and property in the mountains
above Davenport. We have many wonderful memories of our time there. Please
see the attached photos of me and Cora enjoying Nibby’s lavender. It is so
sad to see the destruction of this beautiful place.
