[Pollinator] FW: Pollinator Award Nominations Due Tomorrow

Last minute opportunity to help recognize someone's good pollinator
conservation or advocacy work.  The nomination process is simple and doesn't
take much time.  Although the deadline is tomorrow, Sept 14, the Selection
Committee will be encouraged to consider other nominations received through
next Thursday, Sept 20-one week from today.

 

Note there are TWO categories-one for farmers and ranchers, cosponsored by
NACD, and the other an advocate award with broader eligibility.

 

On request, I can send short backgrounder on the farmer-rancher award [1 MB,
too large for listserv].

The North American Pollinator Protection Campaign is currently requesting
nominations for the 2007 Farmer-Rancher Pollinator Conservation Award and
for the 2007 Pollinator Advocate Award.  

 

The deadline for submissions is tomorrow -- Friday, September 14th -- for
both awards.
