[Pollinator] Action Request: Nominations for NACD/NAPPC Farmer-Rancher Conservation Award Due Sept 19

The deadline to submit nominations for the 2008 NACD/NAPPC Farmer-Rancher
Pollinator Conservation Award is Friday, September 19, 2008. This is a
valued partnership initiative with the National Association of Conservation
Districts, now in its third year, and complements the NAPPC Pollinator
Advocate Awards.

The Farmer-Rancher Pollinator Conservation Award recognizes an individual or
family in the U.S. farm and ranch community who has contributed
significantly to pollinator species protection and conservation on working
and wild lands. 

Please take time today to nominate a deserving individual or family. The
nomination process is pretty simple.  

The nomination form, full award description and list of previous winners is
available on the Pollinator Partnership website at
http://www.pollinator.org/awards.htm. 

The winner(s) will be recognized at the NAPPC International Conference in
October.
